Accessibility to Vaping Products, Vaping, and Use of Cigarettes among Adolescents.

The research findings suggest a strong association between the age of e-cigarette initiation and cigarette initiation among adolescents, with a more significant correlation seen in mid-aged adolescents (p = 0.001). This association was consistent across all age groups. The study also found a significant relationship between sex and the age of e-cigarette and cigarette initiation, as well as the frequency of e-cigarette usage and exposure to ads. However, there was no significant association between sex and access to vaping products. The research also showed that the extent of exposure to e-cigarette ads was significantly associated with the use of e-cigarettes. These findings contribute to the understanding of the factors influencing e-cigarette and cigarette use among adolescents.
