Summary
As of September 2019, the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC) has reported over 350 cases of vapingassociated
pulmonary illness (VAPI) across 36 states.
The observed patterns of disease are variable but all
have been associated with recent electronic cigarette
use or “vaping.”
